Here is my confession: I love ZenRock Fitness! Originally, I sent in my resume on a whim. Unhappy where I was, I was looking for a change. My search for a new job was unaggressive. Fast forward through a conversation with Michael, an appointment set for an interview, all the prep work and everything about that unaggressive search transformed. From the moment I walked in the door of ZenRock Fitness, I knew this is where I wanted to be. The studio, with its gorgeous interior and completely private set-up “wowed” me in such a way that I think my jaw literally dropped open. I remember thinking, “I have to nail this interview.”
Generally, interviews are uncomfortable and awkward but this was an entirely different experience. Talking to Michael was like talking to a friend. Petra and Dwayne joined him during the second interview and the conversation was no different. We covered the pertinent information of course but we all laughed and joked and had a great time. I was hired and so excited to join a team of such incredible people.
ZenRock Fitness has a standard of training that leads clients to trust his or her trainer with more than just their health and fitness. Being a personal trainer leads to new rewards daily and the clients at ZenRock Fitness bond with our wonderful trainers like I have never seen in any other facility. I know this is the result of high standards of hiring trainers who are great at what they do, love every day they get to do it, and professionally love and respect their clients the way a trainer should. I consider myself blessed to be part of this team and part of my client’s lives.
The longer I’m here, the more I love ZenRock Fitness. Clients continue to progress toward, reach and surpass goals. The training team continues to grow and bond. The fabulous facility hosts moments that touch my heart and lead me to be a better trainer and a better person. Isn’t that everything a person should want in a job and everything a client would want in a fitness studio?
